A tour of the app
Five minutes here saves you hunting later. The app is one sidebar, one topbar, and the engine command strip. Everything else hangs off those three.
The sidebar
Pages are grouped by what they're for:
- TRADE: the daily drivers. Trade Desk (open positions, working orders, per-position close), and, where your admin has switched it on, Overview (engine state, recent activity, the week at a glance). Overview is an optional page; if you do not see it, the Trade Desk carries the same numbers.
- TRADE SETTINGS: things you configure, then mostly leave alone. Accounts (broker connections and their discovered accounts), Copy Rules (groups, followers, sizing), and Risk Management (the live risk monitor, daily loss limits, profit targets, locks, and the optional confirmations).
- RESOURCES: analysis, not controls. Journal, with seven sub-pages: Dashboard, Weekly Review, Trades, Daily, Weekly, Strategy, and Manage Data. Then Economic Calendar and Educators & Creators. Click the RESOURCES heading itself to fold the whole section away on a trading day; click it again to bring it back.
- At the bottom: Affiliate and Settings.
Two things fold: Journal (click it to show or hide its seven sub-pages) and RESOURCES itself. A chevron points right when something is folded shut and down when it is open. The hamburger in the topbar collapses the whole sidebar to a strip of icons (hover any icon for its name), and the app remembers that choice for next time.
The topbar
Left to right:
- Engine pill shows the copier's state from any page: Stopped, Starting, LIVE, Reconnecting, Stopping, or Error.
- Open-positions chip appears whenever anything is open: a count plus up to three contract symbols, so a forgotten position is visible from every page.
- Market clock: the CME Globex equity session, in Chicago time. It reads Market open · HH:MM CT or Market closed · HH:MM CT, in plain words. Globex opens Sunday 17:00 CT, closes Friday 16:00 CT, and halts for maintenance 16:00-17:00 CT Monday through Thursday. When it says Market closed, no fill is coming.
- Alerts bell shows in-app notifications: disconnects, rejected orders, errors, fills, risk events.
- Theme toggle: a quick light/dark flip. The three-way choice (system, light, dark) lives in Settings under Appearance.
- A help icon (these articles, in a new tab) and your avatar menu (account and sign-out). The topbar is trimmed on a phone and the help icon is not shown there; reach the help centre from Settings → About → Support instead.
The engine command strip
Start copying, Stop, Flatten all, and Resume copying live on a strip at the top of every trading page: Trade Desk, Accounts, Copy Rules, and Risk Management, plus Overview where that optional page is switched on. Same controls, same order, on every page where you'd need them, so you never have to navigate somewhere else to stop. Details in engine controls explained.
On your phone
Below 720px wide, the sidebar becomes a slide-out drawer and a bottom tab bar carries the primary pages. A slim strip under the topbar keeps the market clock visible. It's the same app, and nothing is desktop-only.
Quick answers
Where do I start and stop the copier?
On the engine command strip, at the top of the Trade Desk, Accounts, Copy Rules, and Risk Management (and Overview, where that optional page is switched on). Any copy of the strip controls the same engine.
Why is the market clock in Chicago time?
CME Globex runs on Central Time, and the session boundaries move with Chicago's daylight saving. A fixed offset would drift twice a year.
What does Flatten all leave behind?
An armed kill switch: the engine is up, but it places nothing until you press Resume.
