Creator and promo codes

If you found MirrorFill through a creator, their discount travels with you automatically. You never have to type the code, and a wrong code never stops you from checking out.

How a creator link works

Creator links carry the code in the URL, like mirrorfill.com/?promo=CODE or mirrorfill.com/?ref=CODE. When you arrive through one, the code is remembered for your visit and applied when you start checkout. You do not need to write it down or re-enter it later in the flow.

Both forms do the same thing at checkout. The difference is what they say about where you came from: ?ref= is the creator's own link, while ?promo= is a code anyone can type or forward. When the two disagree we treat ?ref= as the stronger evidence.

If the code is recognised, the discount is attached to your Stripe checkout session and shows as a discount line on the checkout page itself. What you see on the Stripe page is what you will be charged.

One mechanical detail: when a code is applied for you, Stripe's own manual promotion-code field is not shown on that session. Stripe does not allow an applied discount and an open code field at the same time, so a pre-applied code replaces the field rather than sitting next to it.

Unknown or expired codes

An unknown, mistyped, or expired code is simply ignored. Checkout proceeds at the normal price, and Stripe's own promotion-code field stays available on the checkout page, so you can still enter a code by hand if you have one.

This is deliberate: a bad code never blocks a checkout. The worst case is the standard price plus an empty code field, never an error screen.

What the code also does

If the code belongs to an educator in the creator directory, your account is also attributed to them when you sign up. That changes two cosmetic things and nothing else: the corner promo card in the app offers a prop-firm deal carrying their code rather than our usual featured firm (it names the firm and the code, not the educator), and on the Prop Firms page (it is labelled Discounts on a phone) any firm where they hold an approved code shows their code instead of ours, labelled as theirs. If they hold no approved code anywhere, you see exactly what everyone else sees.

It does not change your price beyond the discount, your plan, your account caps, or anything about how the copier works. Referral commissions, where they apply, are administered by hand. This record is not an automated ledger. See the Affiliate & Partner Terms.

Codes discount the subscription price only. The plan mechanics (the 7-day trial, the account caps, monthly billing) are identical with or without a code. See the trial and checkout.

Quick answers

Can I stack two codes?

No. One discount per checkout session. A pre-applied creator code replaces Stripe's manual code field.

My code didn't show a discount. Am I stuck?

No. An unrecognised code is ignored and checkout continues at the normal price. If you have a valid code, enter it in Stripe's promotion-code field on the checkout page.

Do codes change what the plan includes?

No. Only the price. Account caps and the trial are the same on every checkout.

Does using a creator's code share anything about me with them?

No. We record which code arrived with your signup so we can show you that creator's prop-firm codes. Your account, your trading and your data are not shared with them.
